We are thankful for this Usrah and Taddabur event which has gathered wonderful women and men to hear newfound wisdom and a strengthen our sense of community. As Al-Kahfi reminds us, ‘Seeking knowledge is a duty of every Muslim.’, regardless of gender. For this incoming International Women’s Day #IWD2023, we want to reflect on the story of Al-Kahf as an encouragement for women to pursue their education and to strive for personal growth. Knowledge is a tool that allows women to positively impact their communities, and to become role models and leaders who inspire others.
