Nur Baidzurah Mohd Ali

Nur Baidzurah Mohd Ali began her tenure as Vice President - Corporate Services of Malaysia Venture Capital Management Berhad (MAVCAP) in early 2008.

Zura, as she likes to be called, started her career with PETRONAS before moving on to join the newly setup Multimedia Development Corporation where her past roles include the responsibility of the overall management of the Human Resource functions relevant to the company’s business strategies and overall plan, including Talent and Career Development, Learning and Education and Employee Relations. She was previously Program Leader for the MSC Internship Program which ran under the purview of the Eighth Malaysia Plan, with the aim of providing technical skills and employment opportunities to unemployed graduates with MSC Status Companies.

In MAVCAP, she is responsible for Human Resource, Corporate Communications, the Integrity Task Force and also contributes to the various initiatives and programs under the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. She is also responsible for the highly popular SPARK and SPARK X CSR Programs which provides entrepreneurship, coding and website building skills to secondary school children and young adults.
