MAVCAP is happy to introduce the ILHAMAVCAP engagement series; a knowledge sharing platform from leaders, startups, and entrepreneurs. The series started off with Khairul Anwar Mohamad Zaki, CEO of Ed-Tech startup Pandai, which was joined Noor Amy Ismail, COO of MAVCAP in the first ILHAM talk.
Pandai is an app that helps students to learn in a fun way and improve their grades. Pandai provides practice questions to help students learn and build conceptual understanding of major school subjects in the National Curriculum. The learning materials on Pandai are sourced from experienced educators and leading academic publishers, with new practice questions being added every day.
The session was attended by various people including students, startup founders, business owners, executives and many others from the community to learn from Khairul on what it takes to be resilient and determined to build a successful business. Khairul was also an alumni of the Y Combinator Startup Accelerator program in Silicon Valley California where he shared his experience at the international program and what are the factors to focus and prioritise.
The EdTech landscape is gaining traction amongst young learners and MAVCAP is proud to have supported Pandai in its development via 500 Global which improves the education landscape in Malaysia.
