The CEO of Durioo+ Malaysia, Sinan Ismail was at MAVCAP office to share his experience and journey in building Durioo+ to where it is today, a worldwide phenomenon. As a venture capital firm dedicated to nurturing and growing Malaysia’s startup ecosystem, MAVCAP is proud to see the success of Durioo+ and its contribution to the local startup scene. Graduating from the Y Combinator W22 batch in 2022, Durioo+ was selected to participate in Y Combinator’s Startup School program, which provides mentorship, resources, and support to early-stage startups.
Sinan shared his experience and the story of how Durioo managed to build and develop their creative product such as Didi & Friends to a market for young muslim children, and how he managed to convince Y Combinator, the prestigious startup accelerator in Silicon Valley that helped him go 13 months ahead to launch.
