Noor Amy Ismail, COO of MAVCAP will appeared together with Jessica Espinoza, CEO of 2X Global as lecturers in “Session II: Applying a Gender Lens in VC/PE Investments” with the topic: Gender-Smart Strategies for Investors.The session discussed the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in the investment ecosystem and its impact on driving inclusive innovation while creating value and maximizing financial return. The workshop covered practical tools and strategies for investors to integrate a more robust gender-lens approach, such as evaluation criteria, effective due diligence, portfolio management, impact measurement and management, and engaging with diverse networks for support – ultimately ensuring that capital flows toward businesses that bring value to women.
The Asia Gender-Smart Investing Workshop is co-organised by Gobi Partners and UN Women. MAVCAP is honoured to be invited by the organisers to participate actively to speak and share their expertise on gender-smart strategies for investors.
