Jonathan Tai

Investment Manager

Jonathan was raised in Malaysia and received his education in both Malaysia and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining MAVCAP, Jonathan spent four years in the investment banking industry where his experience covered the entire equity chain from deal origination, execution to distribution. During this period, he was involved in several corporate exercises including initial public offerings and other fund raising initiatives which successfully raised in excess of RM500million.

Jonathan’s interests include reading classic, epic novels and travelling with a penchant also for strategy games.
Jonathan holds a MSc Management and Internal Auditing from CASS Business School, London, UK and a BA(Hons) Economics specialising in Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester, UK.
