Jesrina Ashikin Abdul Jalal or Jesrina as she is fondly known; joined MAVCAP in early 2008 as a Manager of Agency. Here at MAVCAP, Jesrina's main duty is to manage the Outsource Partners Programme (OSP); a scheme where MAVCAP distributes significant portions of funds to venture capital management companies, who in turn invest in high-growth firms.

Before becoming one of MAVCAP's team members, Jesrina was an Investment Analyst at MIDF Amanah Ventures Sdn Bhd where her main responsibility was to evaluate the viability of business plans, capital structure and compliance of the company's prospective investment targets.

Prior to that, she made her career endeavour into the venture capital industry in 2002 by serving Malaysian Technology Development Corporation Sdn Bhd (MTDC) as an Executive.

Jesrina received her education from the International Islamic University Malaysia majoring in Mechatronics Engineering and also from the Australian Matriculation (AUSMAT), Centre of Preparatory Studies.

Being a sport enthusiast, Jesrina enjoys watching football matches apart from her recreational penchant for volleyball and bowling games. She's also into reading, solving jigsaw puzzles, travelling and participating in outdoor activities.
