Saifulbahri (or Saiful as he likes to be addressed) joined MAVCAP in October, 2004, bringing to the company more than 8 years of operations management experience in IT and electronics manufacturing industry. At MAVCAP, he focuses on opportunities in digital content and multimedia. His growing portfolio includes animation development companies, audio and film production companies.

He is passionate about building successful companies and supporting serious entrepreneurs. He is a strong believer of people, first and foremost, as the business driver. He also believes that success is a function of backing the right people that is able to capitalize on opportunities when it presents itself. He naturally takes a genuine interest in the individuals that he meets and the experience that they share. His leadership and operations management abilities combined with deep interest in human and organizational behavior provides a platform for entrepreneurs to bounce-off ideas and to share a holistic view of business opportunities. He is approachable, eager to receive and share insights and ideas, and willingly contribute to just causes.

He is also a strong believer of striking a balance in life. Outside of work, he is an avid mountain biker and enjoys the outdoors. In his spare time, he enjoys music and the movies, as well as reading various works of diverse authors - covering diverse topics from fact to fiction. He is also a proud husband and father.

Prior to joining Mavcap, Saiful was part of a pioneer team of individuals brought together to structure and manage the Cradle Investment Program (CIP), a pre-seed grant funding program. At CIP, he served as a Consultant for Disbursement and Mentoring and was responsible to develop the milestone assessment for the program, among other things.

Saiful received his secondary education from MRSM Perlis and then pursued his graduate and post-graduate education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and the International Islamic University of Malaysia, respectively
