Ng Mun Hon was raised in Malaysia and received his education in Malaysia and England.

Prior to joining MAVCAP, Mun Hon spent 7 years within the Malaysia Corporate Finance & Advisory Industry. He spent 3 years with the Corporate Finance group in Public Investment Bank structuring and executing various corporate exercises for public listed companies in Malaysia. These include, inter-alia, Initial Public Offerings, Mergers & Acquisitions and Placement of Shares. In addition to the above, Mr. Ng spent a year and a half setting up the Corporate Finance group for TA Securities, a leading stock broking company in Malaysia.

Mun Hon's keen interests in travelling have brought him to various countries in different continents giving him opportunities to indulge in his other passion of gastronomy. Mun Hon is also a sports fan, although lately, he has spent more time watching than participating.

Mun Hon holds a BSc (Hons) Economics & Finance from the University of Southampton, UK.
