Effendi Abdul Jalil

Effendi Abdul Jalil came onboard as MAVCAP's Vice President of Investment in early 2008. Banking on his wide experience in the financial services industry; he has been entrusted to actively support MAVCAP's mission to empower entrepreneurs to create wealth and generate attractive returns for its investments.

Prior to joining MAVCAP he was a Vice President at Affin Bank Berhad overseeing the Credit and Marketing Division. Before that, he boasts 16 years of experience serving a number of financial services companies primarily as a Branch Manager.

Effendi holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) majoring in Finance from University of New Haven, Connecticut in the United States of America (USA). He also graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance from University of Minnesota, USA.

Effendi is into fishing, hiking and possesses insatiable passion on cars. He is a people person who enjoys meeting new faces and explores new ideas on business and technologies.
