Born in Malaysia and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Rashid joined MAVCAP in June 2009 under the Graduate Internship program of MAVCAP and was absorbed as an Analyst under the Oasis team of MAVCAP, which not only does direct investments in companies, but also manages 7 funds under the Outsource Partners Program (OSP1 & OSP2).
Prior to joining MAVCAP, Rashid graduated with a Bachelors from University of East London (Hons) in Business Administration. In his academic years, he was active in sports, such as futsal as well as debating, music performance and poetry. Various experiences have also been acquired in events, promotion, customer service and sales through part time jobs in his university. Enthusiastic to learn and team-driven are his traits he carries wherever he goes.
Rashid enjoys the cycling the urban areas of KL and an avid supporter of the local music scene in KL.
